Malphite - Defence is The Best Offense

Full Tank Malphite

This guide will help for playing malphite as a full tank.

Well before we start, you must need to know the proper runes and masteries to build a rock solid tank.Here it is-

Runes

 Greater Quint. of Armor x3

Greater marks of Armor(x9)     Greater Seal of Armor(x9)    Greater glyph of Armor (x9)

These will give you total 36 armor

Masteries

Well you guys may wonder why so much armor is needed? Yes, of course you can use ap, magic resist or even ad, but for malphite armor doesn't mean only defense, because malphite W and E scales with his armor.That means the more armor you have the damage of W and E spells will be more higher.

Summoner Spells: Spells should be Teleport & Flash and these two spells are best.

Gameplay

If your enemy top laner is ad champ, just buy 'Cloth Armor'  , 2 hp pot and 3 mana pot , take first spell W. With rune and mastries (described above), you will able to get 100 armor at level 1 thats obviously the coolest thing ever.At level 2,add a point to your E. use E before fighting that will reduce enemies attack speed,use W which give your basic attack bonus damge and keep hitting. When you back for first time, buy a Bami's cinder and rush to sunfire cap which is great for farming and fighting. Thats it.Now build whatever you want. Some items sets are-

Set 1:
 (enemy high Ad)

Set 2:
 (enemy high Ap)

Set 3:
  (40% cooldown reduction)

If you lane against an Ap champ, get Spectre's Cowl  first. Thats it. Good luck in the field of justice !!!
